The ReelGood Film Festival will be screening a horde of the best short films that Australia has to offer. We’ll also be playing great tunes, sinking cold tins, eating delicious food and socialising with all of the good people.
How does it work? One ticket gets you access to the entire day of films. We run 25 minute sessions on the hour every hour from 11am-6pm. Each hour you choose which cinema to attend based on which three films you want to watch. All films play at least twice throughout the day!
In between, the Lido bar (and rooftop) will be open to serve you food and drinks as you debate the previous session and mull over which session to attend next.
For the second year in a row, the ReelGood Film Festival will be taking over the Lido Cinema’s hallowed Jazz Room, which will host a series’ of Q&As as well as a live scoring session of the famous silent short film, Suspense, directed by America’s first female filmmaker, Lois Weber. The live score will be performed by Geordie Hewitt and James Gales of Tabloid Recordings @tabloid.recordings.
Returning to the ReelGood Film Festival in 2020 is the live DJing on the rooftop. Grab a beer, sit back, unwind and let our stellar line-up of DJs take you through a musical odyssey as you bask in the sun and discuss the films with fellow RGFF enthusiasts.
Want to go to movies for a year, for free? A Lido Gold Card is up for grabs at RGFF20. What does this mean? It means free double passes at the Lido Cinemas for a whole year! How do you procure such a treasure? Just be one of the first fifty people to check-in on Saturday to go in the draw!
