Yuki is left heartbroken when her first girlfriend Maya suddenly ends their brief yet exciting relationship. With nobody to turn to, thoughts of suicide take over. One night on a rooftop she meets Satoru, a dancer with his own set of demons.

About the director: A visual storyteller, Carl has been obsessed with cinema since childhood. In 2009, he wrote, produced and directed his first major production, a short film entitled “Tiramisu”. It was funded by Beyond Blue: The National Depression Initiative, a successful non-profit organization in Australia that promotes the importance of Mental Health Awareness. In 2013 he completed his Masters of Film and Television (Direction) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and was awarded the Moving Clickers ‘Kickalong’ Postgraduate Film and Television (Narrative) Production Script Award for “Blood and Sugar”. With an interest in a variety of genres, and feature film scripts underway, Carl is committed to bringing honest and confronting character driven narratives to a world audience.His dream house consists of a cinema, bowling alley and onsen.
