About the director: Tenika Smith is a graduate of Australia’s presQgious Victorian College of the Arts. Her graduaQng film ‘Thanks for the Ride’ took out the school’s top script award before being accepted to a number of internaQonal film fesQvals, including; Melbourne InternaQonal Film FesQval, Las Vegas Film FesQval and Flickerfest. Tenika is an alumni of MIFF’s acclaimed Accelerator program (2013) for promising young Australian and New Zealand filmmakers. Tenika works as a freelance director in adverQsing and corporate films, working with a wide slate of global companies, which has led her to work across 19 countries. She is currently developing feature and short films with a new Melbourne-based collecQve.
